Hello
Have a new Siemens dishwasher iq700, and although it is very quiet it makes a louder noise in the first 10 minutes of washing. It sounds almost like a hot air fan is running as well as the water being sprayed…. After maybe 10 minutes it stops…. Anyone else noticed the same in the newer Siemens ranges?Re: Siemens sn678d00tg
Anyone? It sounds like a fan more than a pump … I tried Siemens but no answer from them!

It could be you’re hearing the Zeolith drying system which is a unique feature of this model. (No doubt that was explained to you when you bought it, perhaps even Siemens mentioned it?)
In which case the slightly louder initial noise is perfectly normal and yes it is a fan you are hearing. 😉
