My Siemens SR65T080GB/21 dishwasher is intermittently stopping with “E.19” on the display. According to Siemens/Bosch, this is either a faulty heat exchanger recirculation valve or a faulty detergent dispenser. I’ve replaced the valve, which has not fixed the problem, and cannot find a fault with the detergent dispenser. The error can appear during any part of the cycle, sometimes before even pressing “Start”, so I’m sure its nothing to do with the detergent dispenser.

I’ve been unable to find a fault, so decided to take a gamble on a new motherboard. The only place I can find them is Aliexpress, so I ordered one and it arrived with all the right part numbers on the label. It appears to be electrically compatible with the dishwasher, but the programmes are wrong, the buttons map to completely the wrong functions and the blue light that shines on the floor to tell you its running doesn’t come on. My assumption is that lots of the Siemens/Boche machines use identical motherboards, but with different (or at least differently configured) software on them, and I’ve presumably been sent one with the wrong software on it. (?) There don’t appear to be any switches or anything on the board itself to configure it.

The machine does run with the Aliexpress board (despite the buttons being mapped to the wrong functions), and is not coming up with E.19 any more, so that seems to confirm that either the original problem was with the motherboard, or that the new board works sufficiently differently that whatever the fault is doesn’t cause it to stop with an error. I’ve now been using the Aliexpress board for several weeks and it has stopped just once with an E.15 error (water protection system activated), so its possible that there is a leak somewhere, but I couldn’t see any water pooling anywhere.

I have received a refund for the board, and ordered another from a different seller on Aliexpress (after checking with them that it is compatible), which turned out to be identical to the first one that I received, with exactly the same problem. I’m not sure where to go with this now – despite the Aliexpress board working, the buttons map to completely the wrong functions and the only programmes I can access are quite short and hot. I’m sure the programmes are not energy efficient, and they definitely don’t do such a good job of cleaning. Any advice would be welcome.

    Thanks.

I forgot to mention that the original motherboard has a label on it that says:

    9000 830 900
    melecs EWG AI 06.02
    18.09.14 03:54 D
    Typ: PC (220-240)V AC
    EPG70002

Both of the new boards say:

    9000 830 900
    WKKT AI 06/02
    18.12.22 16:17 02
    Typ:PC (220-240)V AC
    EPG70002

Think your not looking in the write area e19 is normally the drain valve heat exchanger valve faulty

Check the dispenser then as the fault relates to these 2 components

As I already said, I’ve already checked both of these components and there’s nothing wrong with them. Which is why I took a gamble on the motherboard.
