Siemens SxS fault:

Good day all, has anyone come across a Siemens KA58NA40GB/07 with interior fridge bulb flashing along with a clicking relay then loss of power?

loss of power to the whole fridge or just the lamp ?

Yep, the whole thing shuts down, no display, comp, fans ect

that has to be a board problem

how old is it, cant tell as you did not post FD number

i was thinking a board fault too.
it don’t look cheap!

thats 2007 july

take the board out and look for blown electrolytic capacitors

I did take it out for a good look, no signs of anything blown but that’s not unusual, it’s defo the fridge lamp relay clicking, gets very warm too. I guess at that age I should be more concerned if the board is still available, it’s my own unit and semi fitted in so would much prefer to fix it

what you looking for is the tops of the caps tend to bulge when they start failing

They all look fine Dave, I guess BSH is my only option for a new board?
