Siemens TD WT34V397GB/02 No Heat

This vented dryer is not heating. The heater looks and tests ok. It even warms very slightly but doesn’t get hot. Am thinking the ntc is playing up. Getting around 10,000 ohms through it. I see the sensor is available separate or comes complete with heater and cut-out stats. Anyone familiar with this problem?

I know it’s a silly thing to ask but the vent hose has a straight run of 400mm before a bend? Have you checked the front sensor?

Hi, if you mean the one that’s like a pin by the front filter then I did. It was covered in fluff which I cleaned completely.

Anyone had a thermistor in the heater give wrong reading making the heater do no more than warm up?

If you want to be on safe side change the front and back sensors I know the 1 on the heater does give trouble from time to time
