I have a siemens topline washer dryer (WK61420GB) which seems to be faulty. It washes fine but doesn’t seem to dry as it won’t get hot. I’ve tried checking the thermostat switch as I’ve read it could have popped out but it seems to be in. When I had the top cover off I ran the dryer and the heating element was very hot to begin with but seemed to get cold as the cycle went on.
I’ve tried draining and checking the suds pump as we’ll – anyone have any other ideas?
Bottom hose isn’t blocked, drained it today to check. The fan sounds like it’s spinning – am I right in saying its in the back right corner at the top?
How can I tell if water is flowing through the condenser?
Bottom condenser hose I refer to NOT the sump hose. Forget about the water fill through condenser for the mo….fan is the bloody great thing back right yes!
