called to this appliance,, builders have moved machine when stripping out old kitchen to new part of house

unit switches on
panel lights up
you can select a programme
as there was no water connection I programmed drain or spin cycle

1] start light flashes…a single bleep but no action
no error code showing

Try starting it with the door open and see if you get the same symptons. If you do,Check the door lock and especially the door wiring loom adjacent to the lock itself. Seen quite a few where the wires get chafed and break on the casing.
