Enr WM16S794 GB/01 The heater has failed in this machine due to the heater coming on with no water in the machine as the element was distorted and discoloured. The pressure system was clear. I did run a test and there is no supply to the element in spin mode. Anyone had this problem?

The fault is caused by the pressure switch or electrical interference to the pressure switch [a microwave above the appliance would do it]

A new pressure switch should sort it

Do I need the pressure switch and bracket? Looks like the p/switch is prt no 619600 but can`t spot the bracket.

    Thanks Pinky

No it just clips in, should be an analogue switch

Thanks Pinky, problem solved. You saved me a load of money as I was going to fit a new board.

    Thanks again.

i have also got the exact same fault with this model and have changed the heater and pressure switch, checked for blockages but for some reason the heater comes on with no water or very little water in it,the machine will run o/k for 3-4 weeks.

    any suggestions

Never did solve the problem on that one Mike as she brought a new machine. Can only assume it was a module problem. How did you get on?
