Siemens Washing Machine Extraklasse XLS 140 – Door open ?

Hi, Thanks to this forum it appears the problem is the door lock. Having had you Guys id the part, can anyone give an indication of the degree of difficulty in fitting the part?

Relatively easy. All done from front. Remove door seal retainer, peel door seal away from porthole, access from there. Power off of course :plug:

Many many thanks for all your help. I was in the process of removing the offending part, when there it was….. one of the connectors had come adrift after 5 years of vibration!!! So all fixed and once again many thanks for your help.
