    Hi ,

    We have a problem with a Siemens washing machine , model WXLS130AFG/01 8105 700072 .

    It has had a new module fitted by a local independant service engineer and worked fine for a while . Now when it is switched on the display shows ” time: hours ” for a few seconds then shows “— and the spin symbol “. The display stays the same no matter which programme you turn to , and the buttons have no effect . There are no other lights/LEDs on .

    We have checked the following;
    Aquastop valve , motor harness , motor brushes ( motor carbon blown out ) ,door interlock (changed just in case ), door interlock harness , pins on all plugs ( tightened ) , PCB ( visual exam ) , heater , heater harness , pump harness , pump , float switch .

    We did find that the soap drawer intake was blocked solid with powder .

    We think that it must be the module that has gone faulty ; what does everyone else think ?

    Thanks

    Could be but also the Display Board connector to the module could be at fault too?

    Best course of action would be to remove and inspect both boards and then reconfigure the main board and see how that goes? 💡

    Child lock is a possibility

    Hi ,

    According to the instructions if the childproof lock was on the door would be locked – and isn’t . Neither are any other features / lights showing which should be on if the child lock was on .

    As I stated we did not supply the new board ( suspect it has been repaired not replaced ) so we have no instructions on how to configure it . Any one know how ?

    Original repairer on holiday , hoping to speak to him when he gets back .

    Thanks
