    The problem appears to be the child lock is stuck on, having followed the user manual but it stubbornly refuses to unlock…the various button options acknowledge with a beep when pressed but the display is unaltered.

    The problem appeared when the customer left the machine for several weeks whilst away and on return it refuses to behave.

    Try this: –

    Press and hold “start/stop” button for 4 secs
    Select any programme
    Press “Extras” button and the Stop/stop” illuminated ring flashes
    Press the “Settings” button
    Press the “Childproof Lock” button.

    The key symbol should then disappear from the display

    HTH? 😀

    Indeed….been through that process and manage to get the start button to flash but the display remains in the program state and the other buttons have no effect 😕

    It’s beginning to sound like the pcb?
