Hi picked up a nice looking wiq. I sold it ten years plus ago and the pcb has given up the ghost. The customer wouldnt shell out the price of a new board and door switch.
If I can find one cheap enough ex stock or second hand I will refurb for my son who is just taking on a new house.
Anyone sat on one, please let me know.
    Cheers.

Would that be the Programme module or the Power module you need?

Sorry, its the power board that sits on the top. Wont accept the door closed. replaced the door switch from v/s and the seal has a big hole adjacent to the d.switch. Checked all wiring so can only assume power board.

Very likely a blown triac on that power module then. Can you see any surface component damage/blown tracks? As a new board is all of 250 quid it’s worth trying to fix it I would say. Don’t be tempted to buy one for 60 on eBay by the way. 😉

Cheers Martin, Will do just that. All things considered its still a ten year old machine. But we sold loads of these and at nearly £900 worth a punt on. The machine condition apart from the aforementioned is very good. Beats the socks of some appliances ten years younger.

Agreed, a quality machine worth trying to resurrect. 😀
