    Hi
Went to one of these washing machines which from the description on the phone sounded like it was blocked up.
When I got there the customer said that it stopped during the rinse sometimes. I cleared the pump and trap under the sink which were both clear and let it empty into a bucket which was also ok.
It wasn’t until I tried runniing it a few times that the fault occurred. It just stops half way through emptying and does nothing. It then takes a few attempts to start it again in another program.
I didn’t have time to pull it out today as it’s had plywood and thick tiles laid up to it and the plumbing is poorly done, so it’s going to be a job just getting it out.
Is it possible it could just be a faulty pump or does anyone have any other thoughts before I start on it.
    Thanks for any help..
    Dave

This old girl has got to be suffering from ‘geriatric pump’, with the Impellor flopping about like a p**** in a bucket I shouldn’t wonder?

    Hi Martin
Impellor seemed fine but I’ll have a better look tomorrow when I have the joy of pulling it out. Never had anything unusual on one of these or the Bosch branded one so I’m sure it will be straight forward.
    Thanks

You won’t need to pull it out to access the pump. Remove front panel and that way you can also check the air bell and the bottom condenser hose for gunge. 💡

Went back to this today. Pump seemed fine but changed it just in case. It didn’t solve it and I couldn’t find fault elsewhere so put it down to the module and replaced the machine.
