As above, machine completes programme, then after a few seconds will start the whole programme again. Tested insulation on heater and motor, found low ish reading on motor, about 8 Mohms.Any ideas if this could be the culprit or should i be looking elsewhere ?

The motor’s isulation is far from ideal so that could be a possible reason. Spurious earth leaks can affect the electronics after all. You might best check the control panel too. If its crudded up due to spillages and mucky mits that too can be a reason it starts again.
