Siemens WM14S890GB/05 No Display

Went to this machine today. Customer reported that the machine was stuck in program with no display. Machine dead as a Haddock. Checked the usual confirmed power supply to front power card, but no supply out of board to the board behind when power switched on. I have fitted a new door interlock and carried out an insulation test, all good. Can anyone confirm my findings in that I suspect the front power card? Is anyone repairing the power cards?

Oh dear, only bad news I’m afraid as it’s likely as not the 120quid display board is at fault. Unless that is the connection between that and the power module is playing up, or worst still the power board?

I think this machine is covered under the 5 year warranty? If so time to get BSH in.

Told the customer to call Siemens who replaced the said board at a cost of £80 call out. Customer well happy.
