Siemens WT6608VGB/02 T/Dryer fault

Hi,

I’ve just been out to a Siemens T/dryer with the model number above. The LED screen just shows 2 dashes. Cant find any information about the fault codes on this machine. I presumed it was the door open symbol ( a lot of machines use this) but the door is engaging and seems fine. Cut out on heater are fine. The machine is just completely dead apart from the fault code.

If anybody could help me on this it would be appreciated.

Ask for the instruction book.

My guess is childlock has been set 😉

Normally a case of holding down one of the buttons for about 4 seconds to set/deselect.

Unfortunately the customer has lost the instruction book and BSH dont have this one listed for download. So i’m a bit stuck.

If there is a “select” button try that one first. Turn m/c on and hold the button in (normally about 5 seconds).

Failing that try ’em all til you find the right one.
