Siemens WTXL1440GB/01 Element change

I have to change an element on the above Tumble Dryer.

At first glance I looks as if the front will have to come off and the drum out.

Can anyone tell me the best way to go about this one?

I had a squealing one of these today.

I’m sure you can do it by taking the rear panel off.

I only had to take the underneath inspection panel off to get to the pulleys.

Cant be of anymore use than that!

WXL1440 comes up as a washing machine. 😕

Remove back panel, then several screws surrounding heater box to split the box open and withdraw heater. Gorenje made machine and cheap elements can be purchased from Masterpart (Product code: GJ34100 – about £6’ish?)
