Siemens XLM1400 doing weird things

Hi
My machine is doing weird things it’s a XLM1400 (WXLM148AGB/17 FD8603)
First thing I done was to completely remove the Aquastop hose and replace it with a standard one to eliminate an Aquastop.problem. I assume it’s ok to do this?
When I put it on a normal wash cycle the machine fills with water for 3 seconds then stops and then immediately the water pump comes on and stays on.
If I select a spin cycle all that happens is the water pump comes on and stays on continually and the drum fails to move.
Only cycle that seems to work ok is the drain cycle.

Thanks for looking, any ideas?

Base tray flooded and anti-flood device activated?

Not flooded but it was the anti-flood device. Somehow it had detached itself from the bottom tray and the polystyrene float had moved, Have inspected and it all looks in good condition so have reseated it.
