Just a thought while putting orders through today 💡
What sealants do you guys tend to use in the field?
We use Fernox LSX, but at Hotpoint many moons ago Ambersil was the main, whilst some guys swore by Debor.

    Just a thought.

Debor for hose to drum etc, Qualtex MIS86 Epoxy putty for plastic drum repairs, occasionally Araldite Rapide for small jobs.

PS. The cheque is in the post. 😉

Dow Corning RTV silicone for most jobs. I often put a bit round the new seal when doing drum bearings and I use it with the original tub seal rather than renew the tub seal.

Home Depot cheap and cheerfull. I always fill my suitcase with the stuff when visiting the states, at around 65p a large tube it cannot be beaten.
