    Hi all, sorry to those who think this is obvious.
    I want to test a washing machine just to see if the power is getting to it; it is out in the garage about sixty feet from the nearest possible water supply. If I do not connect water to it, can I still cause test spin mode or is there a pressure (safety) device that will prevent power getting to the machine?
    Hoping for a polite answer.

    You do not need a water supply connection or drain connection to your machine in order to test it electrically for spinning only. 😉
