    Hotpoint Ceramic Hob: BE71B.
    SN: 70100131.

One of the single energy regulators has failed and the replacement isn’t available through Hotpoint.

My wholesaler is showing ‘Diamond H 41ER101c1P’ and/or ego 50 52071 070 as possible replacements.

However, I have had issues attempting to fit different regulators in the past as the wiring points aren’t always the same/available (P1, S1, 4, Pilot etc).

Any advice on which one is easiest to fit, regarding wiring, please?

Or, a tutorial on what each terminal on the regulator does etc, so I can work it out myself!?

I once fitted one which came with an instruction sheet on how to fit. I followed every instruction to the letter and it shorted when i powered it on!

    Many thanks all.

Ah, thanks Dave – missed that, somehow! And, it explains why I shorted one once.
