Single oven with plug or replacement with wired?

Hi, I have an old Baumatic oven rated at 2.3Kw fitted with a 3 pin plug. I need to replace it and was looking at Bosch HBN531EOB but this is rated at 16A and says it has to be hard wired. I assume I should not try to wire it to the plug socket. Can anyone recommend a plug in oven with similar features & quality?

Wife likes the fact that our old oven can be run in conventional or fan mode and can have top & bottom elements on separately. Also must have a grill and preferably a handle for the pan. Looking to spend about £340 tops. The Bosch is on offer and looks good value but I don’t want to buy it if I can’t fit it.

Hi: If you take a look online you can normally find some good deals on appliances, Your right a 16 amp rated oven can’t be connected to a plug top for use. For a 16 amp oven it needs to be connected via a 20 amp double pole switch.

Thanks – I am now looking at a BEKO OIM22300 That appears to be 13 Amp rated but comes without a cable so I guess I can just take the cable and plug off the old one, it looks to be in good condition.
The BEKO is a lot cheaper than the Bosch, Are BEKO a reasonable make?

Due to Technical problems with Beko appliances, they wouldn’t be my 1st choice or for that matter my second.
