    Hi
Our oven has just blown a fuse big time ( while main oven heating up).
Funny buzzy noise, burning smell and black smoke. Then flashes from consumer unit when trying it out again.
    It’s nearly 7 years old.
Is it worth trying to fix it?

    Thanks

Decent enough machine, should be worth investigating.

Fan oven element is a good bet, possibly fan oven motor or occasionally the mains terminal block can carbonise with spectacular results.

    Power off when investigating.

    Regards,
    Penguin45.

    Thanks

Do you think the display will still work?
I’m sure it’s needed for the ovens to work, something to do with
    the clock time showing.
Is it possible to disable the oven(s) and just use the hob part?

    Sorry, so many questions!
