Went back to fit parts to a job today and the man of the house was there unlike when I first called.
Job done invoice written and he starts to write out cheque,the name was unusual and I said I knew a man with that name at so and so.That was me he said and then asked me how I knew him I declined to say on two occasions warning him it was a little delicate.In the end I said”i did a repair for you around twenty years ago and never got paid”,he said you must be mistaken,I described his previous place in detail,especially the location and kitchen,blamed it on the split with his previous lady.
Embarrassed or what,he paid me for the pevious job too.
As long as the cheques don’t bounce I’m happy_________________
