Smart Drive 501 Problem

Hi all.

If there is anyone that can help us, it is appriciated.

The problem is.
When you plug the machine in, wait 5 seconds, the final rinse light will come on and it will beep at you.
Went into the diagnostics, got the following – 1101000. That was reading right to left, 1 being led on, 0 being off. Hope that is right.

The machine was working ok before that, but the machine whilst on any cycle would sometimes just screw up, only a few leds would light up and the machine would stop. Unplug it from the wall, plug it back in and it was fine. But it would keep doing it.

The water fill solenoids are gone, i have to get them replaced, but seeing as the machine is in our workshop and we only use it for rags, we got around that by just filling the tank from the tap!!! Seemed to work ok.

Any help on this is greatly appriciated.

Indicates Fault code 104

Display to motor controller communications error
Can be display module or motor controller module fault
Generally the motor controller

You say inlet valves are shot (Both Hot & cold ?)
When you fill manually do you do this for wash cycle only?
Or both wash & rinse ?

Best to also check under washer for any signs of leaking water

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, both hot and cold are gone.
We fill it manually, then during the rinse cycle, we would put more in.

No signs of water leaking in or around the washer.

Would this cause the problem now where the machine when you plug it in, it waits about 5 seconds, then starts beeping and the led for final rinse stays lit. If you press the power button, it goes off, but then 5 seconds later its back?

Rinse light on is a user warning error
When you enter diagnostics the last machine fault indicated will be
displayed as per IST post
