    I have a 603 model washing machine which has stopped working.
    It turns on normally but will not start a cycle.
    The fault code is 161 or right to left 10000101.

    Can anyone advise what this fault is?

    Motor controller is unable to decide what mains voltage it should be working at. You need a new one – p/no 425895P. I understand that re-conditioned boards are available if you look hard enough.
