Smart drive GW608 won’t spin

our 9 year old F&P 608 is starting to show its age, it takes a long time to complete the cycle (must be old age), pausing before spinning, then spinning and not stopping (beeps). Looked into the diagnostic mode and came up with the following error code

Any thoughts/help. Its a good machine and would hate to have to put it out to pasture.

It’s not draining in the time allowed. Check for partial blockage in pump, kinked/crushed hose to water level switch. Pump may be overheating and stopping.

Be advised that the pump is live if the appliance is plugged in, so be careful.

Just pulled the pump out, cery corroded around the ‘coil’, some sludge in the pipe, will flush out, new pump in order?

If it’s got very rusty it’s been getting wet from somewhere. The pump is probably overheating as a result, so replacement is best bet. You may want to get a “hood” for it at the same time.

new pump in place, all the goop cleared out of the bowl, works like new (even washes better)

It’s p/no 479188P, optional. If it’s all back together I wouldn’t worry about it.
