I had a leaking seal and bad top bearing which caused the rotor position sensor to arc to the winding core. I repaired the sensor board and coated it with araldite to protect it, which worked for a load and a half.
Now it wouldnt start and water solenoids just pulse a few times and then it cuts out. error code seems to be 131 which I gather is the sensor board.
Is there a way to test this board before I buy a new one ?Or maybe prove it isnt the main board ? I have replaced the bearings and seal so should be no more water around….
Re: smartdrive 051 short pulses of water soleniods, wont agit
131 is specifically a motor position sensor failure. It can be just wiring, or motor controller board. Sensor is p/no 425221P and is probably the place to start.

I got a used rotor position sensor from the rubbish dump recycling plant for $5 and its working ok now. With the new bearings in as well I can talk while its spinning which is new ! Thanks for your help with this.
I apreciate it…….
