smartdrive 509 error code 40 (00101000)

hi i have smartdrive 509 with error code 40 (00101000) . The machine fills and washers fine but when it gets to spin pump keeps going and the rotor goes back and forward in short movements and won’t progress ( same it i advance to spin or in washer cycle ) .

Bowl disengage fault
While carrying out bowl check Controller has indicated the bowl has not engaged even though pressure switch has indicated bowl is empty
Suggested actions
1 Too many suds/ie to much detergent
2 Check to see if bowl Is Lifting up & down Ok
3 Check that clutch is not & spline are not obstructed
To do this you will have to remove agitator from spline & plate under agitator
4/Check pressure tube has not kinked or come off
5 Could be a matter of a faulty motor controller(PCB)

Yes there are alot of possible causes for this fault code
