Smartdrive 603 strats filling then stops in seconds…

Hi All –

I was sure I saw a post regarding this a while ago but cant seem to find it now….

When I press start on my washing machine, it starts to fill – only for a second, then stops. Then does it again – but water only comes in for a second or less. SOmetime it does it three or four times. Like it is tryin to fill but something telling it to switch off.Then the machine just stops. If I press start again – nothing happens. I have unplugged and restarted a few times but same problem.

I replaced the cold water valve a few months ago.

NO warning lights flash, and according to sticky diagnostics – no codes.

Ideas??

Hmmmm –

I never thought the lid switch gave me problems (because it never stops when i opened the lid) but i shorted it out anyway, tested the out of balance switch with a multimeter, then retried and presto! All working ok.

So all good for the time being but will be back if it stops again….
