10001000 is a motor fault. Possible causes are dodgy wiring to the motor, drum jammed through shot bearings, motor itself jammed, rotor postion sensor faulty, or its wiring. It can also be the motor control board.
So – continuity checks through all of the above, check drum for free and silent movement. If everything meters out, the board is the most likely culprit.
This is a potentially complex fault – if you don’t have or know how to use a multimeter safely and correctly, I’d get some pro help – a lot of things to check.
