    Hello,

Washing machine will not wash, it fills with water in an unusual fashion by giving water for about 5 sec and then stopping for 2 sec then starting again for 5 sec. Then once it reaches the water level required it starts beeping with the ‘final rinse’ light lit up. ( note while filling only very small movements of the agitator are given ).

As described above happens when I attempt a final rinse.

when attempting a spin and a rinse, machine behaves in the same way as I will describe now. The pump drains the water weather there is water there or not, and it will keep going and going on for about 5 secounds and then off for about 2 sec. Finally it will beep beep beep beep beep. ( and the ‘final rinse’ lamp will be lit.

I have attempted to get the error codes from the machine using the method described at the top of the forum ). I get 1000100 = 132.

    Please help,
    Thanks

Motor problems…….. computer is detecting excess current when activating the drive motor. This is commonly a wiring fault, especially where the loom turns under the edge of the drum. Chaffing and breakages are possible. However, there can be shorts in the motor windings themselves, the Rotor Position Sensor can be sending the wrong information to the computer, or the computer itself can be playing up.

Start with the wiring – look for breaks and chaffing, water and corrosion marks. If you meter across the motor coils, each pair chould be within a few ohms of each other – anything more indicates a problem.

    Power off, of course.
