    Hi

    I have a problem with my Smeg dwi612c dishwasher. When i try to start it’s cycle i am hearing a pulsing noise that sounds like a pump? It used to make the same sound but make it constantly. It is now not filling it with water or doing anything but making that sound. Any ideas on what the problem may be or what and how to check out possibilities would be appreciated.

    Sounds like a classic PCB failure – article HERE will explain what you’re up against.

    Thanks penguin.

    I’m going to strip the machine next week and invesigate. All the lights on the control panel are working normally and switching between the programmes seems to be fine. So i don’t think it’s giving me any warning lights. I’ll post my progress
