ParticipantI have a smeg 700mm range intergrated cooker and the door is completely jammed and opens about 2 inches. The door is flexable with inner and outer door glasses and no matter what I try I just cannot get it open and fear that the glass will break. The door hinges are the problem and the right hand one is the culprit. Because its integral the screws that secure the cooker into the housing are obscured and cannot be accessed.
Anyone ever had this and if so apart from swearing how did you overcome the issue.

when you say integrated do you mean built in(ie double oven)if so i have encountered this problem and have been able to lift the door and pull forward at the same time to disengage the hinges from the oven chassis, hope this helps 🙂

model no would help ,if its integrated and there are no retaining screws pull it out and remove the side panel then you will get access to the hinge arm ,some times they jam behind the hinge retainer plate

Yes its built in but its like a range cooker, 700mm wide single oven ,
its a cross between a standard single built in 600mm cooker and range.I have tried to pull the door down whilst lifting to disengaged the hinges from the runners but it will not budge, the cooker is retained by four screws into the base unit but because the door will not drop down you cannot get onto these screws.

no option but to force it I reckon. Try and hold the inner door rather than the handle though.

You may be right my friend but I am so reluctant to break the b****** thing, I have told the customer that I will try and do my best but be prepared for a worst case .
Thanks
