Evening all, thanks for taking the time to look at this one.

I have just found I have a faulty oven switch and lifted up the lid to inspect the switch and there appears to be an earth connector not connected – might of been when i lifted the lid, the only place i can see it going to is the oven switch labelled 6A, there is the link earth wire going from the main oven to the top and this link wire from the top and not connected – could anyone advise please as I can’t seem to find a wiring diagram.

Thanks all for any help or pointers on this.

its an earth wire so wont stop oven working. you will just have to look around for a tag that not got a wire on it, that connected to chassis metalwork of some kind. its not the end of the world if you leave it off provided the cooked is earthed by other cables.
you are not going to get a wiring diag to include earth wires as they are normally excluded to make drawings clearer

Hi Dave, thanks for the quick reply!, the only place i can see where it might of come from is on the selector switch 6a (only terminal without a connector attched, but like you say I’ve had a good look and this seems the only place, just be nice to have it confirmed really.
