i might be wrong but i think one of the thermal cutouts at the back can go causing this fault!

The reason I am asking, I found the multi plug on the wiring loom burnt( one cable open circuit) I repaired that, I now have 240v to clock, but clock not working, when I turn on grill nothing.!! also no power to main oven stat.
need to know if this is fed from clock, as most grills still work when clock as gone.
As anyone a wiring diagram please.

does this one not have a clock transformer remote to the clock? should not have 240 present at clock if so!
Clock relay controls all oven/grill functions. Simply short out the clock relay terminals to check. If clock complteley dead then most likely the transformer has gone rather than the clock- been caught out with these in the past and its an expensive mistake. transformer is only £23 (818890060) but may also need cable (821290622) as the connections have changed. If only clock display dead (play about with the buttons to see if you can blindly set the clock) then look for broken solder joints on the pins from the display to the pcb- usually can be re soldered if careful.

Thanks eastmark I have decided not to continue with this cooker, as I also find it difficult to get access to internal parts, but thanks for advice. John
