sometimes when the customer selects a setting for the oven the clock goes off and nothing works appart from the cooling fan but if she hits the fascia hard the clock comes back on but it isnt always possible to set a time straight away im assuming it needs a replacement clock but its just short of £140 +vat. i realise its a long shot but has anyone else had a similar problem?

    thanks paul

Could be possible burnt wiring in the loom or the terminal block 😕

check the clock pcb for dry joints or, as said the wiring block at the rear of the hob.
