Smeg A1 Range

Hi does anyone have a wiring diagram for this cooker, have to see one tomorrrow. Also any ideas if it has a door microswitch as the oven has failed. Appears to be power to the clock but when you select the stat and selector nothing happens. Cust informs me only the ingition for the gas hobs is working

Can give you a serial number as it is caked in dirt

No door switch on a standard A1 Simon, could be the com or the clock. post your real email address and you will get mail 😉

Simon,

contrary to what eastlmark has told you, there is a door switch on these ranges. Check your mail.

oooh 😉 not one shown on the parts diagram. Mind you that is for a standard A1 there are many other variations.

ok cheers alan but i have not recieved mail and im going back to this tomrorrow. I cant see from inspection any wiring running around the hinges???

Hi Simon,

I’ve sent you some info.

Bear in mind that there’s no less than 21 variants of the A1 that I can see on a cursory look so you really need to know the suffix to get the right info. But hopefully what I’ve sent you will help.
