The joy of this job means every once in a while you get to mop up after another repairer has done a runner oh joy!
In this case an oven selector switch was fitted, it’s a later replacement than the original which IIRC has a small wiring change. In trying to work out what went where the previous repairer left the switch disconnected 😕
So….if anyone has the connection chart for the selector switch i’d be most grateful. I’ve trawled through the tech that i have but it doesn’t include this for this model, only the later versions which have different wiring colours etc, and in any case don’t give the connection diagram….

Yeah thanks Chris…thats the stuff i’ve got…unfortunately there’s no connection diagram for the switch as such. Looks like i’ll have to unwrap the harness and follow each wire 😕

No…thats the problem really, it’s the early one. The tech for this model doesn’t show anything except the exploded diagram, the A1-1 and -2 etc have wiring shown, and there’s a tech on the new commutator but none of the colour codings tally with the A1, and nowhere is there a connection sheet for the switch.
The tech does show the switching within the commutator so i’m going to have to isolate each wire and work it out….lovely! 😕
