    I have a Smeg A1 cooker and three of the thermocouples need replacing.
    Can anyone tell me if they are a standard part or a Smeg supplied part only.
    What is the order of play for lifting the top off this cooker to access the parts.

    The thermocouples are all different.

    Rear right is 948650037
    Front right is 948650036
    Centre is 948650037
    Rear left is 948650038
    Front left is 948650033

    In general, the standard thermocouple for the A2 will fit most Smeg range cookers. 948650108.

    I can only advise that a CORGI registered engineer carries out this repair and am unable to offer you instructions for unscrewing the hobtop.
