smeg a1 Tipo 2B7 thermostat

Hi all,
Can anyone give me some pointers on how to get to the thermostat for replacement on this oven before i price the job please as i’ve not done one before.I gather on some ovens you can lift the top but most you have to go in via the back.Is there anything i need to look out for?

Which thermostat, it’s a range cooker?

it’s a single oven so it will be the main oven thermostat.It is burning the food.with the gas pots on top i’m assuming it has to be pulled out and entry through the back.cheers k

Facia off,look for a screw either side in to the side pillars ,remove them
Then whole deck hinges up
