been to this range cooker and the selector switch is burnt out we rang connect who gave us part number 5031681725857 which has came and is wrong we have rang them and it turns out there are 3 diff sel switches on this model and they all have same part number acc to connect.

Can anyone solve this my selector is red in colour if that helps the replacement one is black and the contacts are diff.

If it is a A2 there is only one, 811730195 not had a problem myself but some Smeg coms have one extra row of contacts on the end which you just ignore. That connect number looks like something completely different and I would suggest it is their error.
note though that there is also a A2.2 and a A2-5 that have a different com but these will be clearly marked on the rating plate.
