Smeg A2-6 opera small oven not heating up

Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me out with my Smeg A2-6 opera cooker the small oven no longer heats up, if i move the function switch the light comes on, but no heat (this originally lead me to think it was the element) however if i move the function switch round to the rottiserie setting the fittings for the rottiserie don’t move round.

So i guess my question is, is the rottiserie motor contected to the heat of the element and this fault will resolve itself if the element is replaced.

Any ideas greatfrully recieved.

The timer may be set to Auto cooking? Try press and hold (for 2secs) the central (clock icon) button to cancel. 💡
