The three back burners on the hob will not stay alight after ignition, any ideas how to fix this or is it a service engineer job?

Yes it sound like you may be having a problem with the thermocouples or the amount of travel in the tap shaft.

You could try cleaning the thermocouples as they get coated with grease and fail to pick up the heat from the flame.

If that doesn’t work then it’s engineer time (Corgi registered) you could try the repairs@ link at the bottom of my post 🙂

Thanks for the quick response. The thermocouplers have been cleaned, but unfortuantely have made no difference. Time to book an engineer I think. The repairs@ link does not cover my area, (New Malden, Surrey) do you have any approved service engineers i could contact?

    many thanks
