Can anybody enlighten me on how to gain access to fit an oven selector switch, without having to strip it down completly as i’m not Gas Safe i want to be able to do it with the minimum of disruption, its for a letting agent and i dont want to tackle it if it is a total strip down cheers JJ

Straight forward . Just need to remove facia panel to get access to side panel screws. Bout 4 screws front and back then side panel should come off easy with bit of a twist . No need to touch top at all .

not really correct info there. on an A2 the complete hob will lift up, car bonnet style. control panel off, remove 2 screws in the top corners of each leg just under the hob. 2 similar screws at rear that just need loosening and then the complete hob will hinge upwards, they even have 2 “bonnet props” to hold it up on each side whist working. no need to touch any part of the gas circuit.
