    Hi,

    My A2 burnt the dinner tonight, after operating normally it suddenly raised up to a ridiculous temperature then shut down, including the clock display. After a few minutes the clock display came back on but the main oven will not operate.

    The smaller oven seems to work fine.

    Can anyone suggest what is wrong 😕

    Possibly thermostat failure tripping thermal cut out when close to melt down 🙂 would reset when normal working temp reached.

    Is the fan running on the oven but not heating now? Often when the elements blow they can overide the oven stat and reach a higher temperature.
