Smeg A2PY-6 Cooker stuck in demo mode

Hello,

Not sure if anyone can shine any light on this but i have a A2PY-6 oven that seems to be stuck in demo mode clock is functioning and the 6 is flashing away, according to the manual you exit this by depressing the bell and the + and – keys at the same time for 3-4 seconds. All of the keys work individually so the on the surface there seems to be nothing wrong with the timer unit.

But i can’t get it to exit the demo mode and so the main oven won’t heat up. I’ve taken the clock out of it’s housing and it all looks ok (no burnt wires etc) and as i’ve said the functions on there own work ok and the clock shows the time.

The second oven and hob ignition are both working ok.

Any ideas warmly recieved.
