Smeg A3-5 – Problems with Main Oven Door

Hi,

I have a Smeg A3-5 Cooker which currrently has a couple of problems with the main (large) oven.

1) The oven seal is split at the bottom & I can’t find a part number so that I can order a replacement

2) The main oven door doesn’t close fully at the top so instead of closing flush, it protrudes by about 5mm (by comparison the door to the small oven/grill closes completely flush)

The door has been removed for cleaning a couple of times & as far as I can tell, we have replaced it properly but it doesn’t seem to help. Is there a spring that can be tightened or needs to be replaced?

The seal is no problem, part number 754131208 at £10.27 ex VAT and carriage.

The door hinges and/or hinge supports need replacing to solve the main oven door not closing correctly by the sound of it (they wear). Again, not a problem and pretty reasonable at 9.80 each plus the supports at £4.82 each (ex VAT).
