ModeratorLife is never dull when working on SMEG stuff.
Today I came across this oven:
while changing the fan element, I pondered on what the wide glass panel was to the right of the door, a water container for a steam oven maybe? I touched it and out popped this:

Its a bloody toaster!I noticed it looked new or never used yet the oven is over a year old, it was a rented house so I called the tennant over to sign my invoice and mentioned the toaster. “what toaster?” was his bemused reply. so I demonstrated it. “lived here a year and never new about that” he remarked and pointed at the expensive looking chrome 4 slice device he had obviously purchased at some point sitting on the worktop.

You can also get what looks like an old style freestanding cooker, the top section that was the grill is the oven and the bottom section is a dishwasher. :rolls:

Anyone seen the FAB retro washing machines? For the French market you can also get them with sinks built into the worktop!

KeymasterYou have to wonder at the lunatic that designed it and, still more at the one that said they could make it!

Handy for my style of cooking though ….all the burnt pots and pans will drop straight into the DW section 😆
