Hi,First post. I got the above last April,from AO.com. The main oven has decided not to work. The light is permanently on. Before I contact AO,is there any check I can do to try and fix it?

It’s the main oven interior light.Digital clock/timer works. Small oven works as normal.

are you sure the timer is in manual mode ?

Yes. Gone through power on/off,setting resetting. Stays the same.

in that case there is a list of things

thermal cutout
faulty clock
faulty control sw
door switch if this is fitted ( some do some dont )

There is a problem with the door microswitch I’ve done loads in warranty smeg know there is a issue the hinge doesn’t hit the microswitch lever square and doesn’t de activate the microswitches

Thank you. Smeg sending an engineer this morning. Will see what he says and mention these posts if required.

Oven fixed. Switch at bottom left replaced. Engineer showed me the old and new switch. Only difference is the aluminium bar has been lengthened. He has them in stock and has changed a few recently… I wonder why the good old plunge bar switch has been replaced? Thank you for those who offered help and advice.
