    Hello everyone,

    I’m considering buying an ex-display Smeg C92DX8 range cooker, but it’s missing its upstand. Is this an integral part of the cooker that I should buy as well, or will the cooker function fine without it? I’m not clear on its purpose but logically I assume you do need it otherwise it wouldn’t normally be sold with one?

    Hi

    The up stands are low glass panels to go each side of the splash back along the wall, so cooker will work OK without them.
